Bask

Take a little
sun break.

A short bright-light ritual woven into your workday. Connect the smart bulbs you already own. Bask shifts your room to daylight for five minutes, on cue, several times a day — and quietly hands things back when the break is done.

Works with Philips Hue · LIFX · Nanoleaf · any Matter color bulb

Three moments

The day, in three
colours of light.

One product, three timings, three temperatures. Each is a single HomeKit scene that fires on its own and quietly hands the room back when it's done.

Why this works

The break is
the dose.

Office light hovers around 300–500 lux. Outdoor light at noon is closer to 50,000. That gap is enough to flatten mood, alertness, and sleep timing — especially in winter.

Clinical bright-light therapy uses a single thirty-minute session every morning. Bask uses what the alertness and mood literature also supports — shorter, repeated exposures woven into the workday. Same melanopsin pathway, smaller doses, on a cadence that fits a real life.

Bask is not an FDA-cleared SAD treatment. It's alertness, mood, and circadian support during the workday — backed by 30+ peer-reviewed sources.

How it works

Three steps,
fifteen minutes.

Step one

Set up your lights once

Pair Philips Hue or any Matter color-temperature bulb to Apple Home. Bask discovers everything automatically — no separate hub login, no Hue developer key.

Step two

Choose your cadence

Pick the times that fit your day, or let Bask weave breaks around your calendar and Focus modes. Mornings weight heavier — that’s when light helps most.

Step three

Live brighter, on cue

When the break fires, your room goes daylight-bright for five minutes. Bask logs the session to Apple Health and restores your normal light when it’s done.
